Your profiles, decks, cards, flags, saved study positions, and preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage on this device. Flashcard Flurry does not upload them to an application account or cloud database.

Yes. Open the app online once so its files can be cached, then install it on your home screen. Creating and studying cards, editing decks, and creating or restoring a locally available backup work offline.

Open Flashcard Flurry in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, and tap Add. Launch it from the new icon after installation.

Open the app in Chrome, open the browser menu, and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.

Tap the colored avatar in the app to add or switch profiles. Each profile has its own decks, theme, accent, font size, and preferences. Profiles are local and do not require accounts or passwords.

Open the Import tab and select Import file. You can import a supported Word document, CSV or text list, or a deck JSON file. You can also paste cards using one question-and-answer pair per line.

On the Import tab, select Create Backup. The JSON file includes every profile, deck, manual edit, flag, preference, deck order, and saved study position. Save it locally or in a cloud file service, then use Restore Backup on another device.

Yes. Flashcards mode saves the exact card and study order. Return to the Study tab and use the Resume panel to continue.

Yes. In Flashcards mode, select Edit card, make the correction, and save. The current position and study order remain intact.

Matching Pairs presents five questions on the left and five shuffled answers on the right. Match every pair to advance to the next group. Repeated questions or answers are kept out of the same round.

The app creates answer choices locally from other cards in the selected deck. Some bulleted answers become Choose every correct answer questions. Results include replay and review-missed options.

Game tiles and answer choices must fit the current screen and font size. Multiple Choice also needs enough unique answers to create distractors. Every card remains available in regular Flashcards mode.

When an update has downloaded, the app shows A new version is ready. Select Restart and update when convenient. Your locally stored decks and settings remain in place.

Scanned or image-only documents do not contain extractable text. Run OCR or convert the material to a text-based Word document before importing it.
