Terms of Use

These terms describe the conditions for using the Flashcard Flurry website and application.

Important: This is a general-use template and not legal advice. It should be reviewed before Flashcard Flurry is offered commercially or used in circumstances requiring specific legal terms.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using Flashcard Flurry, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the website or application.

The service

Flashcard Flurry is a browser-based tool for creating, importing, organizing, studying, exporting, and backing up flashcards. The application is provided without an account or hosted synchronization service.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain responsibility for the questions, answers, files, and other material you enter or import. You represent that you have the right to use that material and that it does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups. Browser storage can be erased by device loss, browser settings, storage clearing, software changes, or other events outside the application’s control.

Acceptable use

You may not use Flashcard Flurry to distribute unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious content; interfere with the website; attempt unauthorized access; or misuse the service in a way that harms others.

Educational information

Built-in or user-created study material may contain errors or become outdated. Verify information that is important for academic, professional, medical, legal, financial, safety, or other consequential decisions.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to services such as GitHub or depend on browser, hosting, domain, or device providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.

Availability and changes

Features, content, URLs, and availability may change. Access may be interrupted for updates, provider outages, browser limitations, security needs, or other operational reasons.

No warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Flashcard Flurry is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free content, fitness for a particular purpose, or preservation of locally stored data.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, study material, opportunity, or use arising from the website or application.

Termination

You may stop using Flashcard Flurry at any time. Access may be limited when necessary to protect the service, users, providers, or legal rights.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
